I would like to introduce Philip Devine as the project lead for Falling Stars: War of Empires. Philip will be bringing you more details in the weeks ahead.
What is Falling Stars: War of Empires?
Falling Stars: War of Empires is a 4x turn-based strategy game set in the Falling Stars universe where players clash in epic space battles, manipulate opponents with politics and trade, and explore the galaxy to gain valuable resources and allies. It also introduces some innovative new concepts to the genre, while building on others. You have the ability to barter with the inhabitants of planets for extra resources, manage diplomatic relationships with other alien races, and interact with rogue mercenaries that patrol the galaxy.
The game will have a single player campaign where you can battle against an AI at your own pace, as well as online-multiplayer where you will vie to be the first to reach 20 victory points by asserting control over the galaxy. Whether you want to focus on annihilating your opponents in battle, or cut them off from their resource stream with your political influence, you are granted victory points for a variety of accomplishments, so there is no single path to victory.
Please leave any questions you have and I am sure Philip will answer.
