2nd Edition Essentially Same as 1st Edition?

Just as the title says, I wanted to know if 2nd edition re-print is going to be essentially the same game, just with updated maps, counters, and errata fixed? Is there going to be any new content from the last game? What about Poland expansion, or other expansions/variants? Or will there be some significant changes?
