Deploying Eureka units in Rebecca Can You See Me

How do I deploy the Eureka units. I have got the leader and the unit to the hex and Flipped the unit during the rally phase. There is the squad that was in the trees and I also had 2564 sqd with the leader. At the end of the turn s I get the message the Germans win, What am I doing wrong?

Once the device is deployed, you need to activate it via the button above the unit display.

Are the SSR's and Victory Conditions in this scenario true to the original or is there still stuff missing? Maybe someone who has the Boardgame can clarify
