The Germans must control 2 of the Objective Markers to win. The scenario is 6 turns long. Before the Initiative roll on turn 4 the Russians remove one objective marker. Does that mean that if the Germans do not control the removed marker the game is over because the Germans do not control two objectives? Or does it change the Germans Victory Conditions?

Thank you,

SSR2 mentions that, at setup, the Soviet player must takes 1 Objective marker and places it anywhere on Map 79, following the same placement restrictions as the German player. This is in addition of the 2 objectives markers that the German player must set up too. Thus there is 3 objective markers at start, and only 2 left after turn 4.

And a strict interpretation of the rules about control would indicate that removing a controlled objective marker is not useful, as control will remain German. I will ask Devin.

OK, contrary to what I thought, if the Russian remove a objective marker previously controlled by the German, that objective marker cannot count toward the Victory conditions
