Scenario 08 Metal Rain Question

In scenario 8 there are three Objectives: A, B, and C. Victory conditions stipulate that Soviets must control all hexes of Objectives A and B (not C). Okay, so what's the point of Objective C? Why even bother marking it if it doesn't matter? What am I missing here?

Also, in scenario 9, the setup for the WG units has an error: 3-01 is not a road hex. Methinks it should be 3-M1 which would be a contiguous road hex. Can someone confirm?
