The world of Falling Stars is vast and many-layered, with political powers constantly working to wrest control from their rivals. With so many powers in play, from the corporations that once ruled humanity (and seem intent on doing so again), to the burgeoning United Planets Colonial Government, and out into the chaotic world of the Outsiders, the world has much to explore and many nuanced levels of social and political interplay to explore. And with a new, alien culture in the mix, just dealing with human politics alone is no longer an option.
