Update not working

Command OPS 2 update has stopped working.

I am using Vista 64bit but I do not think this should be a problem with updates.

I have been able to load up to 5.0.14 with no problems but now have an issue with update program connecting for a second and then disconnecting from server.

I only have this problem with Command OPS 2 other programs on my computer have no internet connection problems.

Is it possible to download updates without using the update program?

Reloaded full Installer and game updated ok.

The reason the updater fails can be difficult to diagnose. It is usually firewall or anti-virus, but can be caused by a number of other factors.

If I keep using the full installer option for future updates when my allowable 20 downloads is exhausted will I no longer be able to download updates?

Seems strange it stopped working as it worked for all the previous updates and I have not made any changes to my computer settings.

The Matrix games updater appears similar to Command Ops 2 updater and Command Ops1 and War in the Pacific still work ok, tells me I have the current update for each program.

Does anyone else has a problem downloading updates, if not then it must be something wrong with my computer.

You don't need to worry about the download limit, that is just a precaution to avoid abuse (like DOS attacks). We reset the limit periodically.

I will open a support ticket for so that we can try to find a solution.

I'm having the same issue. Update shortcut (all of a sudden and out of the blue) mysteriously not working. Tried turning off virus and firewall protection with no positive results. I can download the core game from my account to get the latest version, but have no idea why the updater has stopped updating. Frustrating.
