"Flames" in Heroes of Motherland. block LOS?

i'm playing the Rattenkrieg scenario. There are flames markers per SSR. Do flames block LOS, or are they considered degrading?

Yeah, it's not stated anywhere. In Heroes in Defiance a Fire is blocking for LOS, though, so I'd place it as such.

I'm guessing its always the terrain height of that which is on fire? Also, does that mean "smoke 1" is a level height above, up to two,in order to possibly interfere with fixed wing aircraft or heli-born travel? Just kidding, I love this game!!!
