Interaction of acquisition and continuous movement

Hello,
Could anyone help with the following question:
If a vehicle chooses to keep the continuous movement option (and retains an AM or Move marker), can an ATG that fired at it in the previous impulse get to acquire it and therefore receive the bonus in the ATG's next impulse in the next turn, if it fires before the vehicle physically moves out of its hex?

I would say ‘No’ as you lose acquisition when a unit moves.

Apparently, you keep the acquisition. But since the vehicle is under continuous move, you also get a +1 penalty, so it’s net 0:

We play you maintain acquisition on the target ‘in motion’ even if it moves as long as you maintain a LOS (you may be penalised for pivoting to fire if you do it as opportunity fire)...
