low crawl and close assault ?

Hello,
Can a MMC low crawl and close assault at the same time ?

The rule doesn't say that Low Crawl expends all the unit's Movement Points, so can for instance a MMC spend 2 MP to assault move into one forest hex, thus receiving a benefit of Low Crawl (no +1 on the DFT), then assault fire ?

1) See 17.1 : Units cannot use Low Crawl (6.3) or AM (6.1) to enter a Close Assault. See also 6.3 : Low Crawl cannot be used to enter a Close Assault (17.1).

2) The rules under 6.3 don't explicitly mention that Low Crawl use all the unit's MP but it say that a unit that Low Crawl spend its entire impulse to move one hex. Thus, it cannot do anything else beside Low crawl

3) As per 6.1.1, Assault Fire can only happen before a unit move (and in the same impulse) but, per 6.1 a unit that Assault move can fire, in a the same or a later impulse
