Arjuna: Good luck with your surgery. I hope it's completely successful in alleviating your symptoms.
Again Dave great work! played a lot of other war games but nothing comes close to co2SITREP Fri 6 Oct 23
Hi all,
Got a lot sorted this week. I now have CCA performing an echeloned attack in the tuorial scenario. THe attack code now created nearbydefend tasks for those forces from the battalion sub-attacks that start near to their sub attack FUP and reserve locations. This prevents them from heading back only to come forward. It ended up a bigger job than I thought and I still have to handle cases when one Bn arrives early to its resLoc and the other is still to arrive. But by and large it is working.

Hi all,
I've worked flat out this week but alas, the game is still not in a fit state for beta testing. I fixed the nearbySubAttack tasks and a plethora of issues that subsequently came up. Most of these have been to do with attack timings. With more different types of tasks in an attack, there are lots of cases to cater for. But it is pleasing to see the various attack combinations being put in.
I go under the surgeon's knife tomorrow and if all goes well will need six weeks to recover. That means I should be able to get stuck back in in December. Sorry for the disappointing news but it wasn't for lack of trying. I'll monitor this forum in the meantime. Bye for now.
Gee Jim, that's major. Mine is minor by comparison. I'm typing one handed at the moment. My left forearm is encased in plaster. The first week after the op was painful. Thankfully now it's just a dull pain with intermittent sharp spasms, and these are getting less frequent. The plaster comes off this Friday and a much smaller and lighter fiberglass cast applied for the following four weeks. I wish you a full recovery Jim. All the best mate.Hope all goes well, Dave.
Recovery is quite possble.
I'm back after a three week hospital stay in hospital following open heart surgery to correct a life threatening heart aneurysm which emerged a month after a two week stay following a valve replacement.

Hi Mark,Dave,
Sorry to hear you are having problems with aging joints. I know how that feels lower disks in my back have just seemed plum wore out. Sadly, I cannot take steroids for pain as it suppresses the immune system,
Awww, you should have insisted on getting the animal-paw version! Here is a shot of my arm in a cast. I wanted the cast with the animal paw marks but the nurse said that was for kids. So, I got the red one instead.
It's a brave man with a crippled arm that argues with a no-nonsense nurse. The good news is that the cast comes off later today, hooray!Awww, you should have insisted on getting the animal-paw version!
